On the bus yesterday,  this boy (aged around 9) and his mum were sitting across me  The boy told his mum he had just spotted The Shard (the tallest building in the UK). His mum doubted he could see the building so far away. I secretly agreed with his mum. As the bus dtove on, the boy said he could no longer see the building. At some point, he boy pointed to a building in the distance and said it was The Shatd. This time, I secretly agreed with him. I was impressed he could recognise.it from that distance. He told his mum how tall the building was. He seemed to know a lot about the building.  As the bus got closer to the City, The Shard became clearer. Before I got off the bus, I told the boy's mum that I was very impressed rhat her son had spotted the building from such a distance. When I got home from my friend's wedding party, I was still buzzing and I couldn't sleep. I decided to watch this singing talent show on my laptop to see real singers in action. 😄 Suddenly, I had this painful cramp on my left calf.  I got out of bed, and kept massaging the calf and calling on the name of Jesus. Within a minute, the pain was gone. I went back to bed and continued watching the talent show. The devil doesn't like people to be in joy. He'll send something to derail you or try to steal your joy. I always use that opportunity to glorify God. At the name of Jesus every knee shall bow, including painful cramps. At my friend's wedding party, I was singing to Whitney Houston's song "How Will I Know If He Really Loves Me?"   Later, while I was waiting for my tube home, this guy walked right by me. On the back of his orange jacket was the word, "Whitney." Nice one, God, I know how much you really love me. 😆❤️

After my friend invited me to her church wedding, I started thinking about what to wear. I didn't think I had anything suitable in my wardrobe. It would mean buying something new.  I had an idea to ask my flatmate if she had anything I could borrow for a wedding. She showed me a few dresses for me to consider. which didn't fit or looked right. Finally, she brought out this dress with glitter. I knew it was the One. When I tried it on, it fit perfecly. I also had sandals with glitter to go with the dress. (On the day of the wedding, I decided to wear ankle boots instead). My flatmate also thought I needed to wear a bracelet which she loaned me. I already had the right earrings to go with the bracelet. (See photo below) My flatmate also gave me a hand bag as a gift which  I thought would go perfectly with my coat. I thought it suited her. She sat right in front of me and took her phone out. After a while when she looked up, I asked her what colour her hair was. She said it was a combination of copper and another, which she had mixed herself. I told her mine was copper bought from the shops. I told her I liked her hair colour and her short hair suited her. I asked her how long she'd had her hair short. She said 10 years and it gave her a lot of freedom.  I told her I've had mine cropped since 1992 which she found amazing. I said in those days there weren't many women with my kind of hair. My friend said the moment she got on the bus she noticed my hair and thought it really suited me, b...

Some highlights from a museum I worked at recently. I loved it. It was like being reunited with old friends from the past. 😊 The vibe was very positive.  It reminded me of attending a convention where all the visitors and staff are happy being there. I hope to work there again sometime next year when they are open to the public.  I give thanks to God for giving me this opportunity. ❤️ For more information about this museum. During our morning briefing, our manager told us we could use the lockers to store our stuff, but we needed to use a Pound coin to lock it.  As I didn't have any cash on me, I asked if I could borrow a Pound off someone. A colleague offered me the Pound. I was very grateful. After our shift finished,  I returned the coin, but my colleague told me to keep it until the last day of our contract. Before going back to work, I started rummaging in the rucksack I usually carry and I found a Pound coin. Good, I can return my colleague's coin. When I arrived at work, I saw my colleague. After we exchanged greetings he said, "Today, I'm the one withut a Pound coin." "No worries," I said." I found a coin in my bag so you can have yours back." Thank you, God. ❤️.

"Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know." Jeremiah 33: 3 ---- While I was removing my ear studs, I dropped one. I  looked for it on the carpet, but I couldn't find it. The studs are not expensive. I can easily replace them, but I love these studs. Lord, please show me where the stud is.  Put it where I can see it. Thank you. I got impatient and went  through my earrings case in case I'd dropped the stud in it, but it wasn't there. I searched the dressing table. Nothing. I looked on the carpet again.  Still nothing. I reminded myself that God knows where everything is. There is nothing hidden that He won't reveal. (Luke 8: 17) I was still feeling sad when I went to bed as I don't like losing stuff. In the middle of the night, I woke up and checked the time on my phone. It was 3.33 am. That has to be a sign. A few days ago, while I was going for a walk, I noticed a lot of people around this church I've attended before. I wondered what was going on. Later,  I was approached by two young women and one of them gave me a flyer inviting me to an event on that same evening at the church I had been wondering about.  I thanked her for the flyer. While I was walking to this supermarket to get some groceries, I wondered whether the event was a Christian one. Within a few minutes I was approached by this young guy and he handed me a flyer for the same event. I  asked him what kind of event it was and he said it was Christian.  I told him I was a Christian. He said I would enjoy it. I told him I would think about it. On the way to the store, I wondered if the event was my cup of tea. After I finished shopping, I headed to the bus stop. "He who does not love does not know God, for God is love." 1 John 4: 8 ---- I believe mobile technology is a d8ouble edged sword. On the one hand, mobile phones connect people, on the other hand, they disconnect people. Here are two examples. While I was travelling on the bus, it was so packed full, three passengers were standing upstairs. The bus driver made an announcement for passengers standing upstairs to go downstairs. None of the standing passengers budged. I reckon they either couldn't understand what the driver was saying or couldn't hear him.  As I was sitting next to one of them, I tapped him and told him they weren't allowed to stand upstairs and they should go downstairs, which they did. A few days later, I was travelling again on another bus. This time, I was sitting at the back upstairs. I noticed two women standing. Earlier on, I was watching this reality TV programme. One guy was having a row with this woman. He started taking out his anger on other characters. He then realised the error of his ways. He told someone he was upset because he didn't like arguing with women.  He later apologised to the woman he'd had the altercation with. Later on, I received a text from my flatmate to let me know she was coming home late. I told her I would feed her cat, Zeus. I then let him in before it started to rain. While Zeus was relaxing on his bed, I petted him. Suddenly, we heard a cat screeching outside.  Zeus is usually very calm. It was funny seeing him making himself look big and growling like a panther. He wanted to go out and fight, but I was having none of it. I reckon the screech was from our neighbour's cat, Coco, who he can't stand. I've told Zeus time and time again that he shouldn't fight girls, but he won't listen to me. I think Zeus should have his own reality TV sh...

While I was lying in bed browsing and writing notes on my phone, my flatmate's cat, Zeus, was quietly keeping me company. He then fell asleep. When he woke up, he came and sat on my chest. The way he was looking at me it was as if he was saying, "Enough already, give me some love, woman!" I had no choice but to put my phone down and give him my full attention. As Zeus was drifting off to sleep, I grabbed my phone to take a selfie of him. That startled him and he wasn't impressed. He did allow me to film this clip. 😄 We love you, Zeus. ❤️

Philippians 2: 12-13 ---- One thing I've realised is while Jesus saved us two thousand years ago, it's not enough to just accept your salvation once. Salvation is in the continuous present. In other words, because Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever, the Lord's benefits in Psalm 103: 1-5 is for yesterday, today and forever; and The Lord’s Prayer  (Matthew 6: 9-13) is for yesterday, today and forever. Now every day, I thank God for saving me. His salvation includes his blessings,  forgiveness, grace, healing, joy, love, peace, power, protection, provision, truth and wholeness. "For as he thinks in his heart, so is he." Proverbs 23: 7 ---- On my way to work, I was meditating on God's infinitude in 1 Kings 8: 27.(See Bible verse below). I thought about how the entire tube represents all of God's creation (seen and unseen). While God fills all of it, It cannot contain God.  In other words, God fills all time and space and is outside time and space. When I arrived at work, one of my colleagues told me I was glowing. "I'm always glowing," I said. "Yes, but today you are glowing more than usual." "That's becsuse the Lord is with me," I smiled at him. It's wonderful how when I was thinking about God's presence, my colleague could see His light around me. We really do become what we think.
