The Many Faces of Zeus

While I was doing the chores, Zeus kept miaowing at me to feed him. (I'd only fed him.an hour before). I told him to wait till I had finished cleaning and mopping the kitchen floor. 

After I fed him, he hopped on my bed. ❤️

God Directsv My Steps

(Previously posted on Facebook on 6.5.2021).  "A man’s heart plans his way, But the Lord directs his steps." Proverbs 16: 9 ------- After I had performed my civic duty and voted at the local elections, I decided to take advantage of the dry  and sunny weather and go for a long walk. It was so warm, I removed my hat and scarf.  I thought I could get a sandwich and have it at the park. I also thought I might do my weekly grocery shopping on the way home but then I thought I'll do it tomorrow. Now that the decision was made, I headed to the store to buy a sandwich, but my feet had other ideas and was leading me in the direction of the park. I let my feet lead the way. I walked through the park and discovered another exit which led to the store I had planned to get my sandwich. Now that I was there, I decided to do my weekly grocery shopping. Power Points

"But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." Philippians 4: 19 ---- When I went to the library, the entire building was closed because of some plumbing issues and they couldn't tell me how long it would be closed for. The next closest library is The British Library (our national library and one of the largest in the world). That library is always full of  researchers, students, tourists and waifs and strays like myself. I only go to that library if I'm really desperate. At that time of day, the seats with power points are usually taken. As it's only a walking distance away, I headed to The British Library as I was pretty desperate. 😁 As expected, the seats with power points were all taken, but there were several spare seats available.
