The Prodigal Daughter Returns

"for in Him we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are also His offspring.’" Acts 17: 28 ---- While I was working at this arts shop, I was on my feet for several hours and my feet were aching. I reminded myself that I live, move and have my being in God, and God is Love. (1 John 4: 8) In other words, I am standing and walking in Love and Love doesn’thurt. About half an hour before my shift ended, this beautiful cat called Honey walked in. Apparently, she's become a regular as she accompanies her human mummy who visits the shop from time to time.  Honey was so sweet and affectionate, she loved everyone she met in the shop. I fell in love with her.  While I was cooing over Honey, I forgot about my aching feet. In fact, my feet were no longer aching. Thank you, God, for sending Your sweet love in the form of Honey. ❤️ Here are some photos I took of Honey

It's okay for Zeus (my flatmate's cat) to run up and down my bedroom, lie on my bed, fall asleep on my chest and push his bum (bottom) on my face. The moment I cough, that cat is nowhere to be seen. That's cat love for you! 😆

As I haven't lived with a cat for a while, I had forgotten the many ways they show you love. For example, after I had ironed my nice, clean top, I laid it on my bed. Zeus soon came in my bedroom. I thought he was going to lie on the other side of the bed. He went for my top. Not my top, move!  He wouldn't budge. I had to lift him off my top. I love you, Zeus, but I love my top a lot more.  😊♥️

 Zeus doesn't like being pcked up or carried. Every time I try to, he squirms and I have to put him down. Occasionally, he let's his mummy, my flatmate, carry him, but he only stays for about a minute and he's had enough. While I was having some food this morning, Zeus came in through the window and went into the kitchen to eat. On the way out of the window, I called out to him, but he ignored me, which hurt my feelings. 😊 I then went to have a shower. After my shower, I noticed Zeus had returned and was  lying  on my bed. He was now ready to return my affection. He climbed on my lap and allowed me to pet him. He then fell asleep. He was sleeping so soundly, I didn't want to wake him up, but I had to as I needed to get dressed for work.  He then moved to the edge of the bed to resume his catnap.  You can't force love, love will come to you. ❤️

Psalm 37: 4-5 ---- My flatmate was telling me as her cat, Zeus, is shedding a lot of fur, she intended to get a comb to help with the process.  She said she needed one with soft bristles as Zeus has sensitive skin. The next day, on the bus I noticed a comb on the floor. I picked it up and put it  in my bag. Maybe my flatmate could use it for Zeus. I even took a photo of the comb and texted it to her. Later when I saw my flatmate,  she told me that wasn't the kind of comb she had in mind. She said there were special combs for that purpose. She showed me the kind she was looking for on the Internet.  I told her she should have been more specific. 😀 I believe our all knowing Father God knows exactly what our needs are. My knowledge is limited. I guess I just got excited when I...
