The Prodigal Daughter Returns

"For as he thinks in his heart, so is he." Proverbs 23: 7 ---- On my way to work, I was meditating on God's infinitude in 1 Kings 8: 27.(See Bible verse below). I thought about how the entire tube represents all of God's creation (seen and unseen). While God fills all of it, It cannot contain God.  In other words, God fills all time and space and is outside time and space. When I arrived at work, one of my colleagues told me I was glowing. "I'm always glowing," I said. "Yes, but today you are glowing more than usual." "That's becsuse the Lord is with me," I smiled at him. It's wonderful how when I was thinking about God's presence, my colleague could see His light around me. We really do become what we think. "You are the light of the world."  Matthew 5: 14 ---- As Chrristians, we are the light of the world and we are to let the light  of Christ shine wherever we are. One way I shine my  light is to bless my neighbours. When I first moved into my current flat, my flatmate warned me that the lady next to my bedroom usually has her television on really loud as she's almost deaf and needs a hearing aid. I haven't seen her as she no longer goes out. My flatmate tells me she's now 100 years old, but refuses to be moved into a care home. She now has a carer who comes in a few days a week to help her. Early this morning I heard my neighbour's phone ringing, but there was no response. I've heard that happen lots of times before, but this time I was quite alarmed. I spoke to my flatmate about it and she assured me the lady probably didn't have her hearing aid on and couldn't hear the phone. At work when I smiled at this elderly gentleman snd asked him how he was.  He said to me, "Keep the bright side out." "I've never heard that expression before," I said. "Is it the same as letting your light shine?" He nodded. I am keeping my bright side out. ☀️😊

"This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all." 1 John 1: 5 ---- This morning was pretty chilly, but it got warmer later. By mid-morning, while I was travelling on the bus, I was sitting on the side of the bus that was sunny, but it was bearable as I had a sleeveless top on. Suddenly, my attention was drawn to my left arm. I could see the rays of the sun on my skin and my skin was turning light. As you can see from the photo of my hand, the skin tone on my arm is a lot darker than on my palm. I noticed my arm was getting lighter like the palm of my hand and looking white like light. I was fascinated by the transformation and for a  long time I kept staring at my arm.  As soon as I turned my attention back to the road, my arm returned to "normal." Matthew 5: 14 ---- As I was leaving this building, I noticed one security guard was glowing. I told him I could see his shine. He told me he has been feeding himself by repeating verses from the Bible.  I told him I could see the Light of God/annointing shining in and through him.  I said there are certain people who are placed in certain positions to radiate the Love of God rather like a lighthouse and I can see that he's one of those.  He told me when he was working at the airport, someone approached him and asked if he was a priest. He said no, but he is a pastor. My friend told me I must be very powerful to see him so clearly. I told him as I'm in a similar line of work (lighthouse), it's very easy for me to spot kindred spirits. He thanked me for SEEING him. I've only just got home since I left early this morning. What a marvellous day it's been! In the morning service, the deacon preached on Jesus's teaching about believers being the light of the world and salt of the earth and how we are to go out into the world shining Christ's Light. They had a healing service in the evening, which I wanted to attend as I've never attended one before. Besides, I could do with healing too. After the first service, I hung out with my friend, then I went for a long walk. I then returned to the church and hung out with a church member who used to know my mum.
