The Prodigal Daughter Returns

I love having small talk with  people I meet along the way. Sometimes, these small talks end up becoming so meaningful I record them for posterity. Here are a couple of examples. Last week, on the bus home, this woman sat beside me. I told her I loved her hat and she said she loved mine. I asked her if she was well and she said she was feeling a lot better. She said she recently spent two weeks in hospital for a serious lung condition. She said she was in such a bad state, she called the ambulance.  She was told they would be with her in 40 minutes. As she didn't think she would last that long, she went out of her house and tried to stop cars driving by. One man who stopped agreed to drive her to the hospital, where she happens to work.  She was treated really well and she had visits from her colleagues.  "God is love." John 4: 8 ---- I've been travelling home by tube with a work colleague who lives around my area. Today, she had to leave early as she had a doctor's appointment. I was sorry I didn't get to see her before she left so I could give her a hug and wish her well. After work, I decided to travel by bus with three other work colleagues. For some unknown reason it took ages for our bus to arrive. When we got on the bus, it took a while to get to our destination as there was a huge traffic jam. When I got off the first bus, my next bus was taking a while to arrive. As I was feeling cold, I decided to travel on a different bus, which also goes close to  where I live. During the bus journey, I thought of my work colleague and wondered how her appointment went.  I suddenly looked up and I was amazed to see my friend had just got on the same bus I was in.
