At the back of it were the words "Love" printed about 20 times. Just as I was overtaking her I said to her, "I love your jacket. It's nice to see so much love." "Thank you," she said. "We all need love, right?"  "We certainly do," I said. At work, I noticed a colleague with a fleece that was covered with love hearts. I told her I had just seen a woman with a love jacket and now I am seeing her fleece covered in love hearts. She told me she had just bought the fleece before she came to work. It got me thinking of real love, God's love. God, the Father, loved us so much, He sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to die for us so we can be redeemed and be reconciled to Him. "Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure." Philippians 2: 12-13 ---- One thing I've realised is while Jesus saved us two thousand years ago, it's not enough to just accept your salvation once. Salvation is in the continuous present. In other words, because Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever, the Lord's benefits in Psalm 103: 1-5 is for yesterday, today and forever; and The Lord’s Prayer  (Matthew 6: 9-13) is for yesterday, today and forever. Now every day, I thank God for saving me. His salvation includes his blessings,  forgiveness, grace, healing, joy, love, peace, power, protection, provision, truth and wholeness.  "Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation." 2 Corinthians 6: 2 ---- Recently while I was working at this nursery, I accidentally locked my finger in this door. Because I was busy with the babies, I didn't have time to complain about the pain. I decided to pray about it later. By the time I finished work, the finger was now swollen. Even though I prayed about it and affirmed that I am healed, the finger remained stubbornly swollen and painful. After two days, that finger tip had turned black but it no longer hurt. I went to the local chemist and ask the pharmacist for advce. He told he's had a similar experience and it will take at least two weeks for the blocked blood to drain from my finger tip. He suggested I could take pain killers if the finger was hurting. I told him my finger wasn't hurting and I thanked him for his advice. After I left the chemist, I decided I wasn't going to accept the chemist's view of time. I was exp...

 Reminder to self: "For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him." 2 Corinthians 5: 21 ---- Imagine treating yourself to a nice meal at a fancy restaurant. After you've finished your meal, you ask for the bill. The maitre d' tells you your bill has already been taken care of. "But that's impossible!" you say. "No one knew I was coming here!" "Someone has paid for your meal, madame, including the gratuity," he says. "There's nothing for you to pay." You now have a choice. You can accept this free gift and be grateful to your anonymous donor or you can refuse their gift and insist on paying for the meal as you don't accept charity. This metaphor represents Jesus' sacrifice for mankind. His blood has paid for man's salvation for all time.  As a believer, I have two choices.  1.  14.8.2021 Friends, In case you haven't noticed, after a lot of soul searching, I have converted to Born Again - Bible based - Christianity. By this I mean confessing myself as a sinner and that Jesus Christ died for my sins and by faith and grace  I have accepted Jesus as my personal saviour. This means I have forsaken all new age and new thought doctrines for Jesus Christ and the Gospel. I am focused on my  personal relationship with Jesus.  Righr now, I am not a member of any Christian denomination, but I do follow a few Bible based ministries that resonate. I am grateful that the new age and new thought have brought me back to the Word and to Jesus Christ.  God bless you all! ❤
