Introduction

"But when he came to himself, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!  I will arise and go to my father, and will say to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you, and I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Make me like one of your hired servants.”

“And he arose and came to his father. But when he was still a great way off, his father saw him and had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him. And the son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight, and am no longer worthy to be called your son.’

“But the father said to his servants, Bring out the best robe and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand and sandals on his feet. And bring the fatted calf here and kill it, and let us eat and be merry; for this my son was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ And they began to be merry."  Luke 15: 17-24

-----

Welcome to my new blog.

I was brought up in a Christian home and attended Methodist church regularly.  I even attended a Methodist secondary school.  Although I enjoyed reading Bible stories, they were very much far removed from my actual life experience.   In other words, I could see no practical relevance to my everyday life.  Though I believed in God as I'd had too many exxperiences to show He was real, I went looking for God in all the wrong places.  I went from following the New Age to New Thought.  What I did get from the New Thought movement was that the teachings in the Bible are forever relevant and now and I can apply the principles in my daily life here and now.

Gradually, I started having this knowing that Jesus was the missing piece and key to God.   My mum, who was a Christian, had introduced me to lots of  TV ministeries. which I used to watch with her when she was alive.   I would even secretly say the Salvation prayer, but I wasn't quite committed.

It was during lockdown when I was doing a lot of soul searching during my daily walks that I came to the realisation that I need to make a full commitment and give my life to Jesus Christ. Like the Prodigal Son in the Bible, I repented and invited Jesus to be my personal Lord and Saviour.  I then started doing a lot of Bible study online.

I'm also now attending hurch on a regular basis where I fellowship with other Christians.

I have also permanently deleted my old blogs when I didn't have a relationship with Jesus Christ.

This blog is a clean slate.

I will be sharing my walk with Christ and my relationship with my Father God in my daily experience.

You are welcome to share any articles as long as you add the relevant link.

God bless.
