'---- While I was on the tube, I noticed this woman chatting to her young son who was about three years old . He kept asking her if she could remember different ages. She said she couldn't remember when she was aged three to four, but she could remember when she was ten. The woman asked him to count. The boy could easily count from one to ten, but stumbled when it came to the teens. She told him they were going to practice when they got on the train. The um and her son reminded me of my relationship with the Holy Spirit as He's constantly teaching me how the Bible applies to every day life. There's never a dull moment with him as He uses every opportunity to remind me of Jesus. Thank you, Holy Spirit, for making life fun and wonderful.❤️

"Defend the poor and fatherless; do justice to the afflicted and needy." Psalm 82: 3 ---- When I got on the tube, there were no available seats as the entire carriage was full of tourists.  I noticed this elderly man standing. I could sense he was uncomfortable.  On our public transport, there are always seats designated for the elderly, the disabled, parents with kids, and those who need a seat for other reasons. I walked down the carriage and spoke to the elderly man, I asked if he wanted to sit down as there was a priority seat he could have. He wanted to sit down. I went over to the tourists and pointed to the sign above one seat and asked him to give up for the eldely man as he had priority. One man gave up his seat and apologised to the elderly man, as he obviously didn't know how the system worked. The elderly man, who sounded American, thanked me. Before I got off, he waved goodbye to me. I was thinking if I hadn't spoken up for that elderly man, he would have...

On the way home, the tube was packed full.  Although I had my hand fan on me to keep me cool, I was still feeling uncomfortable standing up. An announcement came on that the tube was being held on the platform.  While we were waiting more people got on. I moved further down inside the carriage. I reminded myself that God was right there in the tube. Suddenly, this boy got up from the seat right in front of where I was standing and moved to the other part of the carriage.  I was so grateful to have a seat all the way to my destination.   Thank you, Jesus! ❤️ 

"Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you." Luke 6: 28 ---- While I was on the first tube, I thanked God for His infinite Grace.  I had to change to another line. I was grateful to find empty seats in that tube. I sat down.  While the doors were still open, this man got on and he said, ^I hope you all die of XXX." (I won't mention the actual disease). After that he got off. He was smirking at us through the window. I reckon he was looking  for a reaction, but everyone ignored him. The doors closed and we were off. I decided to share some of the Grace I had asked God for earlier with my friend and blessed him in my thoughts.  I have also added him on my prayer list.  Thank you, God, for your infinite Grace. ❤️

Zechariah 4:6 ---- I've been meaning to register my Oyster card online so I can have evidence when it comes to claiming travel expenses. Today, I decided to register my Oyster card at the TFL website. I created an account and added my details and my secret answer and authenticated my identity.  After I added my Oyster card number, it asked for the answer to my secret question. After I answered, it didn't recognise it. I decided to log in again. This time, the computer didn't recognise my password. For crying out loud! I decided to call the helpline. Before you can get to the customer adviser, you have to get through the annoyimg gatekeeper. 😊 After I pressed the option that applied to me, I waited patiently for my call to be answered. I usually can't stand the music they play while you're waiting, but I remained calm. Finally, I heard the phone ringing which meant my call was about t...

When I arrived at the tube (underground) station, the line I wanted was heaving with passengers and it took a while to get down the escalator. A member of staff advised passengers travelling north to walk all the way down the platform where the next train is likely to be less crowded.  Naturally, passengers ignored the staff's suggestion and stayed at the top of the platform, which was overcrowded.  I knew with all that crowd, it was going to take ages for me to get on a tube, let alone get a seat. I decided to travel on the next train going south, in the opposite direction, get off at the next stop, then catch another train going north. When I eventually caught the tube train going north, it was not only stree-free, I was able to get a seat all the way until I had to change to another line. The easiest way to avoid the rat race is not to join the rat race. 😀
