"By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible."  Hebrews 11: 3 ----- I believe everything which is seen comes from the unseen realm. When your faith is only in that which is seen, you get more of the same.  When your faith is on the unseen, then the unseen manifests as your reality. A week ago, while I was cooking some chips (fries) in the oven, the back of my hand rubbed against the oven. At first, I didn't give it any thought, but when it started hurting I realised I had burnt myself. I prayed for the pain to stop and it did, but it was obvious from the texture of my skin that it was burnt. I reminded myself that by Jesus' stripes, I am already healed. (2 Peter 2: 24). But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law." Galatians 5: 17-18 ----- The Spirit is always present, but the flesh is constantly fiighting against the Spirit. Here's one example. While I was working outside welcoming guests into the museum, I started feeling like I was getting blurry vision, symptoms of a migraine, which I haven't had in years. I called my manager to let her know that I needed to take time out. She told me she was also experiencing a mgraine and  I could go home if I wasn't feeling well. I told her I just needed to sort my head out. I went to the staff room. As I was the only one there, I switched the light off, sat in a corner and started silently calling on the name of Jesus, whose name is above all names. While I was travelling on the bus, I had two bags of shopping on the empty seat beside me. At one point when the bus suddenly lurched forward, the bags fell to the floor, almost hitting the passenger sitting in front of me.I apologised to the passenger and picked up the bags from the floor. It got me thinking that if I had been suddenly thrown forward, I would have automatically reached out to grab hold of the rail or a passenger to prevent myself from falling. However,  because the bags of shopping have no power or intelligence they immediately fell to the floor. If I wasn't there to pick the bags up, they would have remained on the floor. I thought about cars which need a person or an intelligence inside to drive them.  I believe our bodies are rather like cars. It is our spirits that give our bodies life.  I also believe the life we give our bodies depend on whether our spirits are born again or not.  (John 3: 3) By born again, I mean those who have accepted Je...

Today, I received a text from the same friend and she was sharing a link to a video which she recommended. The last time I received a text from her was in October. It got me wondering whether my thoughts about my friend inspired her to share the video with me. Zechariah 4:6 ---- I've been meaning to register my Oyster card online so I can have evidence when it comes to claiming travel expenses. Today, I decided to register my Oyster card at the TFL website. I created an account and added my details and my secret answer and authenticated my identity.  After I added my Oyster card number, it asked for the answer to my secret question. After I answered, it didn't recognise it. I decided to log in again. This time, the computer didn't recognise my password. For crying out loud! I decided to call the helpline. Before you can get to the customer adviser, you have to get through the annoyimg gatekeeper. 😊 After I pressed the option that applied to me, I waited patiently for my call to be answered. I usually can't stand the music they play while you're waiting, but I remained calm. Finally, I heard the phone ringing which meant my call was about t...

John 10: 10 ----- I believe there are spirits for every condition, good or bad. For instance, there is a spirit of addiction. When that spirit possesses someone, it makes them addicted to various things like alcohol, cigarettes, drugs, sex etc. There is a spirit of death that makes you feel suicidal and puts thoughts in your head  to kill yourself. The moment there is a crisis and you feel slightly down, you start thinking about killing yourself. It's actually the spirit that is making you think those thoughts. For many years I was possessrd by the spirit of death and I fantasised constantly about suicide. It became so normal that I thought everybody did it until someone told me it wasn't normal to think that way and I should have therapy.  The main reason why I couldn't go through with it was because I cared too m...

A while back, I was travelling on the bus and daydreaming. Suddenly, my thoughts were paused and I saw a vision of myself walking down this road, which didn't make any sense. After that, the "pause button" was released and I continued my daydreaming.  A few minutes later, the bus driver announced that he  was making a diversion and advised passengers who wanted to continue on the road ahead to get off at the next stop and walk. A cursory Google search told me the mall wasn't open till 11am, as it was Sunday. Maybe, I could go to my friend who lives close by and ask to use.his toilet. Knowing him, he's bound to be at his girlfriend's. How about stopping off at this fast food restaurant? "Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says the Lord of hosts." Zechariah 4: 6 ---- So I had the urge to do number two, but I was feeling constipated. I tried to force it, but it wasn't happening.   I thought, "God, I need some help here!" I then relaxed and my "friends" immediately popped out and were released effortlessly. 😊 Constipation is a reminder to me that when  I try to make things happen without God i.e. by human will or human strength, it's not only hard work, I might end up hurting myself in the long run. When I wait on the Lord i.e trust in God, things happen easily and effortlessly and it always works out for the best. Thank you, God! ❤️

So I planned to do the household chores after work, but I wasn't looking forward to it as I was feeling tired. I reminded myself that I didn't have to do the cleaning myself, I could ask God to do it. While I was travelling on the bus home, I thanked God for doing the cleaning. Of course, when I got home, the cleaning wasn't done, but when I actually did it, the task was effortless as I was drawing on God's inexhaustible energy. I was even in good spirits. I have noticed when I don't ask for God's help, I find cleaning a real chore and such hard work that it leaves me exhausted. Thank you, God, for doing everything! ❤️

I remember being out of my body at the time. The Bible teaches us that when Adam and Eve disobeyed God, their spirit became disconnected from God, which brought mortality to the world. God then sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die for the sins of all humans for all time. Those who believe in Jesus are then reconciled with God in their spirit. In other words, all believers in Christ are joined with Him as one Spirit. I was feeling a lot of physicsl pain last night, which kept me awake. I kept reminding myself that God loves me and His Love doesn't cause pain. I then had the thought: ...
