God Loves Me

"He who does not love does not know God, for God is love." 1 John 4: 8

----

On my way to work, I noticed this woman, walking in front of me, was wearing a white jacket. At the back of it were the words "Love" printed about 20 times.

Just as I was overtaking her I said to her, "I love your jacket. It's nice to see so much love."

"Thank you," she said. "We all need love, right?"

 "We certainly do," I said.

At work, I noticed a colleague with a fleece that was covered with love hearts. I told her I had just seen a woman with a love jacket and now I am seeing her fleece covered in love hearts. She told me she had just bought the fleece before she came to work.

It got me thinking of real love, God's love.

God, the Father, loved us so much, He sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to die for us so we can be redeemed and be reconciled to Him.

Jesus, who is also God, loved us so much that He became the sacrificial lamb for us. He took on all of humanity's sins, curses, diseases and death on Himself so those who believe in Him could have eternal life in Him  and with Him.

The Holy Spirit loved us so much that He lives in all believers and is their Friend, Helper, Teacher and Guide forever.

Thank you, God, for constantly loving me. ❤️
