Migraine Healed by Jesus's Stripes

"My son, give attention to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart; For they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh." Proverbs 4: 20-22

"But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.." Isaiah 53: 5

"...who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed." 1 Peter 2: 24

While me and my fellow supporting artists were waiting to be used on set, I was chatting to my friends. I then noticed I was losing my vision signifying a migraine attack, which I haven't had in a long time.  I didn't say anything. When my friends went outside, I sat quietly on my own to pray with my eyes closed. 

I reminded myself that when Jesus, whom I have accepted as my Lord and Saviour was crucified on the Cross, he took on all diseases- past, present and future - known to man and that includes migraine.  In exchange for taking those diseases, believers receive healing.

In other words, by his stripes, I was healed and I am healed.

The Blood of Jesus has delivered me from this migraine. I am healed in Jesus name. Thank you, Jesus!

I opened my eyes but my vision was still not clear. I continued declaring the Truth - By his stripes, I am healed in Jesus name. Thank you, Jesus!

When I opened ny eyes, my vision was slowly clearing up. I continued thanking Jesus.

Within another 10 minutes I was able to read my text on my phone. I felt a dull thud on my temple which quickly dissolved.

Later, when I told my friends that I had been experiencing migraine symptoms they asked if I had seen the medic on set or taken any medication. I told them I hadn't seen the medic and I don't take medication. I had just prayed.

Actually, that's not strictly true. I do take medication on a daily basis. The Word of God in the Scriptures is my medication which I meditate on daily.  "For they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh." Proverbs 4: 22

So I put a quiche in the oven to heat it up. By the time I checked it again, it was overdone. I had to scrape the burnt bits off. I didn't share that information with my flatmate, who was at work at the time. The very next day, my flatmate bought me the exact same quiche from the supermarket. I told her I had "cooked" a quiche the day before but it was more burnt than cooked. I believe God had inspired my flatmate to buy that quiche for me. It was His way of saying, if at first you don't succeed, try again.😊 Tomorrow I will have the quiche and be sure to follow the heating instructions. If God is Sovereign, Why is there Evil?

It is written in the Bible that God is in complete control and rules over all. (Psalm 103: 19l If God is sovereign and in control of the entire universe, why is there so much evil in the world? In other words, why does He allow evil to continue? The Bible tells us that because God is extremely patient, He gives us many second chances to enable us to repent or change our ways, as He doesn't want anyone to perish. (2 Peter 3: 9) That's why God allows men to continue in their sin. At a time of God's choosing, He brings down the proud. (Daniel 4: 37) One example in the Bible is  the life of King Nebuchadnezzar. God sent a  dream to the king to warn him about his sins and how he was exalting himself above God.  If he did not repent, he would temporarily lose his kingdom and be driven away from human society and end up eating grass like animals.  The king did not heed God's warning. About Angels

Do I believe in angels? I have always believed in angels. Years ago when a van came from nowhere and almost ran me over, someone pulled me out of the way. I turned round to thank the person, but there was no one there, at least they were not visible to my senses. I believe I was saved by an angel. When I followed the New Age, the belief was you could call on angels to do your bidding. Some people even worshipped angels. As a Christian, I now follow the teachings in the Bible. Angels appear frequently in the Bible. In the Bible: - Angels are God's messengers. For instance  the angel Gabriel was sent by God to tell the virgin Mary that she had been chosen to be the mother of Jesus. (Luke 1: 19) - Angels are sent by God to protect His people or fight various battles.(Psalm 91: 11-12; Revelation 12: 7) - Angels are not there to be at people's beck and call.
