Lost Ear Stud Found

"Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know." Jeremiah 33: 3

While I was removing my ear studs, I dropped one. I  looked for it on the carpet, but I couldn't find it.

The studs are not expensive. I can easily replace them, but I love these studs.

Lord, please show me where the stud is.  Put it where I can see it. Thank you.

I got impatient and went  through my earrings case in case I'd dropped the stud in it, but it wasn't there. I searched the dressing table. Nothing. I looked on the carpet again.  Still nothing.

I reminded myself that God knows where everything is. There is nothing hidden that He won't reveal. (Luke 8: 17)

I was still feeling sad when I went to bed as I don't like losing stuff.

In the middle of the night, I woke up and checked the time on my phone. It was 3.33 am.

That has to be a sign.

I switched the light on and went to look on the table again. Eh voila, I found the stud right there on the table I'd searched earlier.

Thank you, Lord. You are so good!  ❤️

So I put a quiche in the oven to heat it up. By the time I checked it again, it was overdone. I had to scrape the burnt bits off. I didn't share that information with my flatmate, who was at work at the time. The very next day, my flatmate bought me the exact same quiche from the supermarket. I told her I had "cooked" a quiche the day before but it was more burnt than cooked. I believe God had inspired my flatmate to buy that quiche for me. If God is Sovereign, Why is there Evil?

It is written in the Bible that God is in complete control and rules over all. (Psalm 103: 19l If God is sovereign and in control of the entire universe, why is there so much evil in the world? In other words, why does He allow evil to continue? The Bible tells us that because God is extremely patient, He gives us many second chances to enable us to repent or change our ways, as He doesn't want anyone to perish. (2 Peter 3: 9) That's why God allows men to continue in their sin. At a time of God's choosing, He brings down the proud. (Daniel 4: 37) One example in the Bible is  the life of King Nebuchadnezzar. About Angels

Do I believe in angels? I have always believed in angels. Years ago when a van came from nowhere and almost ran me over, someone pulled me out of the way. I turned round to thank the person, but there was no one there, at least they were not visible to my senses. I believe I was saved by an angel. When I followed the New Age, the belief was you could call on angels to do your bidding. Some people even worshipped angels. As a Christian, I now follow the teachings in the Bible.
