Reality TV

Earlier on, I was watching this reality TV programme. One guy was having a row with this woman. He started taking out his anger on other characters. He then realised the error of his ways. He told someone he was upset because he didn't like arguing with women.  He later apologised to the woman he'd had the altercation with.

Later on, I received a text from my flatmate to let me know she was coming home late. I told her I would feed her cat, Zeus. I then let him in before it started to rain.

While Zeus was relaxing on his bed, I petted him. Suddenly, we heard a cat screeching outside. 

Zeus is usually very calm. It was funny seeing him making himself look big and growling like a panther. He wanted to go out and fight, but I was having none of it.

I reckon the screech was from our neighbour's cat, Coco, who he can't stand. I've told Zeus time and time again that he shouldn't fight girls, but he won't listen to me.

I think Zeus should have his own reality TV show with me playing the role of an extra. 😄

If at First You Don't Succeed

So I put a quiche in the oven to heat it up. By the time I checked it again, it was overdone. I had to scrape the burnt bits off. I didn't share that information with my flatmate, who was at work at the time. The very next day, my flatmate bought me the exact same quiche from the supermarket. I told her I had "cooked" a quiche the day before but it was more burnt than cooked. I believe God had inspired my flatmate to buy that quiche for me. It was His way of saying, if at first you don't succeed, try again.😊 Tomorrow I will have the quiche and be sure to follow the heating instructions. Thank you, Lord, for caring about everything that concerns me including cooking. ❤️

If God is Sovereign, Why is there Evil?

It is written in the Bible that God is in complete control and rules over all. (Psalm 103: 19l If God is sovereign and in control of the entire universe, why is there so much evil in the world? In other words, why does He allow evil to continue? The Bible tells us that because God is extremely patient, He gives us many second chances to enable us to repent or change our ways, as He doesn't want anyone to perish. (2 Peter 3: 9) That's why God allows men to continue in their sin. At a time of God's choosing, He brings down the proud. (Daniel 4: 37) One example in the Bible is  the life of King Nebuchadnezzar. God sent a  dream to the king to warn him about his sins and how he was exalting himself above God.  If he did not repent, he would temporarily lose his kingdom and be driven away from human society and end up eating grass like animals.  The king did not heed God's warning. About Angels

Do I believe in angels? I have always believed in angels. Years ago when a van came from nowhere and almost ran me over, someone pulled me out of the way. I turned round to thank the person, but there was no one there, at least they were not visible to my senses. I believe I was saved by an angel. When I followed the New Age, the belief was you could call on angels to do your bidding. Some people even worshipped angels. As a Christian, I now follow the teachings in the Bible. Angels appear frequently in the Bible. In the Bible: - Angels are God's messengers. For instance  the angel Gabriel was sent by God to tell the virgin Mary that she had been chosen to be the mother of Jesus.
