Keeping Bus Seats Clean

During my bus journey, I noticed this man sitting on the other side chatting loudly on his mobile with one foot on the seat in front of him. I hate when people do that.

I was tempted to ask him if he could remove his foot from the seat, but I remembered from past experience that some people get really offended when you ask them to do that.

I decided  to use another tack.

I thanked God for filling the bus with His Presence. Immediately,  he removed his foot from the seat and crossed his legs. After a  few minutes, he placed his foot back on the seat. I reminded myself of God's loving presence and, In my thoughts, I commanded him to keep his foot off the seat.

I then stopped focusing on him

When I looked across at him, I noticed both feet were now on the floor and he kept them there for the duration of his journey.  He got off at the same stop as me.

Thank you, Lord, for keeping London bus seats nice and clean. ❤️

So I put a quiche in the oven to heat it up. By the time I checked it again, it was overdone. I had to scrape the burnt bits off. I didn't share that information with my flatmate, who was at work at the time. The very next day, my flatmate bought me the exact same quiche from the supermarket. I told her I had "cooked" a quiche the day before but it was more burnt than cooked. I believe God had inspired my flatmate to buy that quiche for me. If God is Sovereign, Why is there Evil?

It is written in the Bible that God is in complete control and rules over all. (Psalm 103: 19l If God is sovereign and in control of the entire universe, why is there so much evil in the world? In other words, why does He allow evil to continue? The Bible tells us that because God is extremely patient, He gives us many second chances to enable us to repent or change our ways, as He doesn't want anyone to perish. (2 Peter 3: 9) That's why God allows men to continue in their sin. At a time of God's choosing, He brings down the proud. (Daniel 4: 37) One example in the Bible is  the life of King Nebuchadnezzar. About Angels

Do I believe in angels? I have always believed in angels. Years ago when a van came from nowhere and almost ran me over, someone pulled me out of the way. I turned round to thank the person, but there was no one there, at least they were not visible to my senses. I believe I was saved by an angel.
