What is Christianity?

"Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." Romans 5: 1

"I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Hebrews 13: 5

Christianity is not a religion, denomination, or theology. Christianity is man's personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. 

This means my relationship with God is constant wherever I am and whatever I am doing whether I am  being still, praying, praising God, reading the Bible, meditating on the Scriptures, in church, on public transport, at work, with friends, at home, browsing the Internet, taking a walk by myself and in my dreams. 

That's what makes me a Christian and a woman of God.

I give thanks to Jesus Christ, my Lord and Saviour, who is forever in and with me. ❤️

What is My Function?

At this expo I was working at, I was helping visitors print out their badges with the scanning machine. Whenever I or anyone got close to the scanning machine, it would automatically scan the barcode on their badge and print out another badge. I found  it quite hilarious. 😄 I had to either hide my lanyard badge inside my jacket or try not to stand close to the machine. It got me thinking about functions. The function of the scanning machine is to scan barcodes and print out badges. In other words, the machine has been programmed to scan barcodes and print out badges. The machine doesn't care whether you did not intend for it to scan the barcode, it scans it anyway. About Angels

Do I believe in angels? I have always believed in angels. Years ago when a van came from nowhere and almost ran me over, someone pulled me out of the way. I turned round to thank the person, but there was no one there, at least they were not visible to my senses. I believe I was saved by an angel. When I followed the New Age, the belief was you could call on angels to do your bidding. Some people even worshipped angels. As a Christian, I now follow the teachings in the Bible. Angels appear frequently in the Bible. In the Bible: - Angels are God's messengers. For instance  the angel Gabriel was sent by God to tell the virgin Mary that she had been chosen to be the mother of Jesus. (Luke 1: 19) - Angels are sent by God to protect His people or fight various battles.(Psalm 91: 11-12; Revelation 12: 7) - Angels are not there to be at people's beck and call. If at First You Don't Succeed

So I put a quiche in the oven to heat it up. By the time I checked it again, it was overdone. I had to scrape the burnt bits off. I didn't share that information with my flatmate, who was at work at the time. The very next day, my flatmate bought me the exact same quiche from the supermarket. I told her I had "cooked" a quiche the day before but it was more burnt than cooked. I believe God had inspired my flatmate to buy that quiche for me. It was His way of saying, if at first you don't succeed, try again.😊 Tomorrow I will have the quiche and be sure to follow the heating instructions. Thank you, Lord, for caring about everything that concerns me including cooking. ❤️
