The Holy Spirit in and with Me

"Do I not fill heaven and earth?” says the Lord." Jeremiah 23: 24

Before I became a born-again Christian, I was aware of the Holy Spirit and that He is everywhere present and was with me. I would refer to him as Spirit.

When I accepted Jesus Chist as my Lord and Saviour, the Holy Spirit was no longer only with me, but now lives in me. 

It's not enough to know the Holy Spirit lives in me, I have to be able to experience Him in my everyday life.

While I was working at this art gallery,  I asked a colleague a question, but I didn't like the way she responded to me which I found disrespectful.  I was feeling so mad, I was thinking of having words with her next time I saw her.  

I then thought, "No, I am full of the Holy Spirit which means I have the fruit of His Spirit inside of me." (See Galatians 5: 22-23)

My feelings towards my colleague instantly changed.  When I saw her later, I told her I didn't mean to upset her.  She accepted my apology and we had a laugh throughout that shift.

I am full of the Holy Spirit. 

Thank you, Holy Spirit, for living in me, constantly working in and through me and always with me. ❤️

If at First You Don't Succeed

So I put a quiche in the oven to heat it up. By the time I checked it again, it was overdone. I had to scrape the burnt bits off. I didn't share that information with my flatmate, who was at work at the time. The very next day, my flatmate bought me the exact same quiche from the supermarket. I told her I had "cooked" a quiche the day before but it was more burnt than cooked. I believe God had inspired my flatmate to buy that quiche for me. It was His way of saying, if at first you don't succeed, try again.😊 Tomorrow I will have the quiche and be sure to follow the heating instructions. If God is Sovereign, Why is there Evil?

It is written in the Bible that God is in complete control and rules over all. (Psalm 103: 19l If God is sovereign and in control of the entire universe, why is there so much evil in the world? In other words, why does He allow evil to continue? The Bible tells us that because God is extremely patient, He gives us many second chances to enable us to repent or change our ways, as He doesn't want anyone to perish. (2 Peter 3: 9) That's why God allows men to continue in their sin. At a time of God's choosing, He brings down the proud. (Daniel 4: 37) One example in the Bible is  the life of King Nebuchadnezzar. God sent a  dream to the king to warn him about his sins and how he was exalting himself above God.  If he did not repent, he would temporarily lose his kingdom and be driven away from human society and end up eating grass like animals.  The king did not heed God's warning. About Angels

Do I believe in angels? I have always believed in angels. Years ago when a van came from nowhere and almost ran me over, someone pulled me out of the way. I turned round to thank the person, but there was no one there, at least they were not visible to my senses. I believe I was saved by an angel. When I followed the New Age, the belief was you could call on angels to do your bidding. Some people even worshipped angels. As a Christian, I now follow the teachings in the Bible. Angels appear frequently in the Bible. In the Bible: - Angels are God's messengers. For instance  the angel Gabriel was sent by God to tell the virgin Mary that she had been chosen to be the mother of Jesus.
