Travel Companion

A couple of months ago, I saw this woman at the bus stop. We met at the bus stop before when there was a huge bus delay. This time, we decided to sit together on the bus. While we were chatting, we discovered we had a things in common including going for long walks.  We exchanged numbers. As she only lives a few minutes from me, we planned to go for a walk soon.

The other day, I thought about my friend. Now that Spring is fast approaching, it will be nice to go for a walk with her when we are both free.

This morning I decided to pop out to our local supermarket to buy some grocery as I'd run out of food. 

As I was walking by the local bus stop, I saw my friend. After exchanging hugs, I told her I've been thinking about her. She said she intended to work from home today, but her Internet was down. As she has to do everything online, she was going to the office to work. I told her we must arrange something soon when we are both free.

I thought it was wonderful how God got me out at the exact moment when my friend was at the bus stop.

That's the power of love.

God is Love.❤️

So I put a quiche in the oven to heat it up. By the time I checked it again, it was overdone. I had to scrape the burnt bits off. I didn't share that information with my flatmate, who was at work at the time. The very next day, my flatmate bought me the exact same quiche from the supermarket. I told her I had "cooked" a quiche the day before but it was more burnt than cooked. I believe God had inspired my flatmate to buy that quiche for me. It was His way of saying, if at first you don't succeed, try again.😊 Tomorrow I will have the quiche and be sure to follow the heating instructions. If God is Sovereign, Why is there Evil?

It is written in the Bible that God is in complete control and rules over all. (Psalm 103: 19l If God is sovereign and in control of the entire universe, why is there so much evil in the world? In other words, why does He allow evil to continue? The Bible tells us that because God is extremely patient, He gives us many second chances to enable us to repent or change our ways, as He doesn't want anyone to perish. (2 Peter 3: 9) That's why God allows men to continue in their sin. At a time of God's choosing, He brings down the proud. (Daniel 4: 37) One example in the Bible is  the life of King Nebuchadnezzar. God sent a  dream to the king to warn him about his sins and how he was exalting himself above God.  If he did not repent, he would temporarily lose his kingdom and be driven away from human society and end up eating grass like animals.  The king did not heed God's warning. About Angels

Do I believe in angels? I have always believed in angels. Years ago when a van came from nowhere and almost ran me over, someone pulled me out of the way. I turned round to thank the person, but there was no one there, at least they were not visible to my senses. I believe I was saved by an angel. When I followed the New Age, the belief was you could call on angels to do your bidding. Some people even worshipped angels. As a Christian, I now follow the teachings in the Bible. Angels appear frequently in the Bible. In the Bible: - Angels are God's messengers. For instance  the angel Gabriel was sent by God to tell the virgin Mary that she had been chosen to be the mother of Jesus.
