I need to reassure Leslie (the tedfy bear I inherited from my mum) that despite the fact that I have a new cat love in my life, he still has all my love. ❤️
Today it took longer than usual to get to church. While I was waiting for my last bus, I asked God to get me there on time as I hate being late. When I got on the final bus, it was 10.55 am. As it only takes about two minutes by bus, I knew I would get there exactly at 11 am. At the next stop, the bus driver announced the bus was on diversion. "I give up! I'm definitely going to be late now," I said out loud. An elderly lady siting near me told me she and her husband were also late for the Catholic church they were going to. "I'm sure God won't mind," I said. I spent the duration of the journey chatting to my friend. By the time I got off the bus, it was about 11.10am. I noticed a van driving by with the company name - Godward. Later, the Minister preached about repenting and moving toward God. In other words, moving Godward. I was never late, I was so on time, God gave me a preview of today's sermon. Nice one, God! 😊❤️
(Previously posted on Facebook on 31.5.2022) "Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the Lord. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the Lord." Jeremiah 23: 24 ---- When I wanted to use my headset Jack adapter for my phone, I couldn't find it. I looked under both duvets, underneath my pillows, under the bed, in the bin, my handbag and still nothing. By then I was feeling upset and giving myself a stomach upset. I then reminded myself that nothing is ever lost to God and He knows where the adapter is. I asked Him to either reveal to me where it is or to put it somewhere I can see it. I still couldn't let it go and continued my search and got more upset. I then had a thought that the more I think I have lost it, the more it will appear lost. I may not be able to see it with my physical eyes, but I can still see it with my spiritual eyes. It's not lost, I have found it. I decided to trust in Spirit to reveal it. I then calmed down and...
"The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly." John 10: 10 ---- At Christmas, believers celebrate the birth of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. On the 31 October aka Halloween, people celebrate Satan aka the devil and his demons. A lot of people believe the devil doesn't exist and think it's just harmless fun dressing up in demonic costumes, but they don't realise they're playing with fire and invoking evil spirits and dark entities. If the devil and his minions didnt exist, Jesus wouldn't have talked so much about the devil during His ministry. In fact, Jesus said He came to restore what the devil had stolen. (John 10: 10) I no longer celebrate Halloween. If I want to dress up in costume, I either do so at a convention or when I am required to do so in a film production. The story below (Previously posted on Facebook) occurred in 2013. Even thou...
