Unmerited Favours

On the tube, this man sitting beside me pulled out a huge bar of chocolate.  He asked me if I wanted some. He said it was his favourite chocolate from this particular store

I couldn't possibly say no and thanked him. I told him I will have it later at home.

We had a bit of a chitchat. It was soon my stop and I quickly said goodbye.

When I arrived home, I found a lovely surprise on my bed from my flatmate  - a box of chocolate Advent Calendar.

Thank you, God, for your unmerited favours. ❤️
