Proverbs 16: 9 ------- After I had performed my civic duty and voted at the local elections, I decided to take advantage of the dry  and sunny weather and go for a long walk. It was so warm, I removed my hat and scarf.  I thought I could get a sandwich and have it at the park. I also thought I might do my weekly grocery shopping on the way home but then I thought I'll do it tomorrow. Now that the decision was made, I headed to the store to buy a sandwich, but my feet had other ideas and was leading me in the direction of the park. I let my feet lead the way. Man's Plan versus God’s Plan

"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope."  Jeremiah 29: 11 ---- A few weeks ago I asked my flatmate what her plans were for Christmas. I said it would be nice if we could spend it together.  She told me she planned  to spend a few days  with her daughter who lives out of London. Her daughter was going to pick her up on Christmas Eve. She asked if I had any plans. I told her I planned to work up to and after Christmas. I said I could look after her cat, Zeus, while she was away. I also planned to hang out with a friend who lives down the road from me after Christmas.  Things didn't go according to plan. John 10: 10 ---- At Christmas, believers celebrate the birth of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  On the 31 October aka Halloween, people celebrate Satan aka the devil and his demons. A lot of people believe the devil doesn't exist and think it's just harmless fun dressing up in demonic costumes, but they don't realise they're playing with fire and invoking evil spirits and dark entities.  If the devil and his minions didnt exist, Jesus wouldn't have talked  so much about the devil during His ministry.  In fact, Jesus said He came to restore what the devil had stolen. (John 10: 10) I no longer celebrate Halloween. If I want to dress up in costume, I either do so at a convention or when I am required to do so in a film production.
