The Body of Christ Agency

I recently applied to join an agency for casual work. I had to go for an interview so they could ascertain whether I was the right fit fot the agency and their clients. I was then accepted.

The next step was for me to formally register with the agency, which involves uploading required documents like your ID, right to work etc and signing contracts. It took almost a week before I completed the registration.

As soon as I had formally registered at the agency, I was bombarded with jobs that I can say yay or nay to. I haven't chosen any yet.

It got me thinking that becoming a born again Christian is rather like joining an agency. However, Jesus' Agency is open to everyone. There are no interviews, no previous experiences and qualifications are required.

Just like I could only start to apply for job opportunities after I had registered with the agency, you can only start enjoying the benefits of being a Christian after you have made the commitment to become born again and ask Jesus to be your Lord and Saviour. Next, the work of training begins. You have to go through a process of renewing your mind by studying the Scriptures with the Holy Spirit as your guide so you can be equipped for the special assignment or Plan that God has for you.

I love being a representative of the Body of Christ Agency. ❤️

So I put a quiche in the oven to heat it up. By the time I checked it again, it was overdone. I had to scrape the burnt bits off. I didn't share that information with my flatmate, who was at work at the time. The very next day, my flatmate bought me the exact same quiche from the supermarket. I told her I had "cooked" a quiche the day before but it was more burnt than cooked. I believe God had inspired my flatmate to buy that quiche for me. If God is Sovereign, Why is there Evil?

It is written in the Bible that God is in complete control and rules over all. (Psalm 103: 19l If God is sovereign and in control of the entire universe, why is there so much evil in the world? In other words, why does He allow evil to continue? The Bible tells us that because God is extremely patient, He gives us many second chances to enable us to repent or change our ways, as He doesn't want anyone to perish. (2 Peter 3: 9) That's why God allows men to continue in their sin. At a time of God's choosing, He brings down the proud. (Daniel 4: 37) One example in the Bible is  the life of King Nebuchadnezzar. God sent a  dream to the king to warn him about his sins and how he was exalting himself above God.  If he did not repent, he would temporarily lose his kingdom and be driven away from human society and end up eating grass like animals.  The king did not heed God's warning. About Angels

Do I believe in angels? I have always believed in angels. Years ago when a van came from nowhere and almost ran me over, someone pulled me out of the way. I turned round to thank the person, but there was no one there, at least they were not visible to my senses. I believe I was saved by an angel. When I followed the New Age, the belief was you could call on angels to do your bidding. Some people even worshipped angels. As a Christian, I now follow the teachings in the Bible.
