Making Space

By the time I got on the bus, it was so full, there were no seats available or so it would seem.

I asked this guy standing on the stairs if there were any seats upstairs. He said no.

I decided to stand right at the back on the lower level. I  had to ask passengers to let me through. When I got to the back, there was a seat that had this guy's rucksack on it. I asked him if he could move it so I could sit down. He was happy to oblige.

While the bus was moving, my attention was drawn to a new building with the neon sign: "We are making space for you."

How apt!

Thank you, God, for reserving the last seat on the bus for me. ❤️
