Abouut Sharing

"The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness, the world and those who dwell therein." Psalm 24: 1

"The heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord’s; but the earth He has given to the children of men." Psalm 115: 15

While I was supervising some 3 and 4 year olds at the playground, two boys ran up to me

Boy 1: Miss, he won't let me play with the ball! 

Boy 1 was pointing at Boy 2 who was hogging the ball.

Me to Boy 2: Does this ball belong to you?

Boy 2: No, Miss.

Me; Who does this ball belong to?

Both boys: The school.

Me: Which means?

Boy 2: We have to share.

Me: Good boy! Now go and play with the ball, together.

The boys ran off. I noticed boy 2 had now dropped the ball he had been hogging and boy 1 was now hogging it. 😀

Adults can learn a lot from the way kids behave in the playground.

Like the toys at schools which are meant to be shared, earth, which belongs to God, has been given to His chldren which they all have to share. At least, that's the theory. 😀

I believe as we share the resources on earth, we will discover that there is more than enough for everyone on earth to enjoy. ❤️

If at First You Don't Succeed

So I put a quiche in the oven to heat it up. By the time I checked it again, it was overdone. I had to scrape the burnt bits off. I didn't share that information with my flatmate, who was at work at the time. The very next day, my flatmate bought me the exact same quiche from the supermarket. I told her I had "cooked" a quiche the day before but it was more burnt than cooked. I believe God had inspired my flatmate to buy that quiche for me. It was His way of saying, if at first you don't succeed, try again.😊 Tomorrow I will have the quiche and be sure to follow the heating instructions. Thank you, Lord, for caring about everything that concerns me including cooking. ❤️

If God is Sovereign, Why is there Evil?

It is written in the Bible that God is in complete control and rules over all. (Psalm 103: 19l If God is sovereign and in control of the entire universe, why is there so much evil in the world? In other words, why does He allow evil to continue? The Bible tells us that because God is extremely patient, He gives us many second chances to enable us to repent or change our ways, as He doesn't want anyone to perish. (2 Peter 3: 9) That's why God allows men to continue in their sin. At a time of God's choosing, He brings down the proud. (Daniel 4: 37) One example in the Bible is  the life of King Nebuchadnezzar. God sent a  dream to the king to warn him about his sins and how he was exalting himself above God.  If he did not repent, he would temporarily lose his kingdom and be driven away from human society and end up eating grass like animals.  The king did not heed God's warning. About Angels

Do I believe in angels? I have always believed in angels. Years ago when a van came from nowhere and almost ran me over, someone pulled me out of the way. I turned round to thank the person, but there was no one there, at least they were not visible to my senses. I believe I was saved by an angel. When I followed the New Age, the belief was you could call on angels to do your bidding. Some people even worshipped angels. As a Christian, I now follow the teachings in the Bible. Angels appear frequently in the Bible. In the Bible: - Angels are God's messengers. For instance  the angel Gabriel was sent by God to tell the virgin Mary that she had been chosen to be the mother of Jesus. (Luke 1: 19) - Angels are sent by God to protect His people or fight various battles.(Psalm 91: 11-12; Revelation 12: 7) - Angels are not there to be at people's beck and call.
